FIFA 20 Marquee Matchups Predictions: 25th of March
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
It’s International Break in the world of football. Feels like it’s the worst time for that and it feel like it’ll be one of the worst International breaks ever. There aren’t a lot of games to highlight over the next week, I’ve tried to find games with the most chances, but I don’t know how it’ll go. Usually – I’m pretty bad at this one during International break.
Lately I’ve been getting nice results. 44 week before, 34 last week. Overall if I’ll hit 24 this time – I’ll honestly be happy.
We’ll see what happens this week.
Let’s do it:
England vs Poland
This game is a highlight to me of this international break. I still don’t know if Lewandowski will travel for this game, because if he will – he’ll have some restrictions after his return to the Germany and it might affect very important games for Bayern (like a game versus Leipzig in Bundesliga and 1st game of UCL quarters).
But still – it’s hard to pass on a game like this. Both teams are usual members of top-1015 nations in the world (at least by rating) and it’s important game for WC qualification.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per nation
-Team overall 78+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: Few English playersFew Poland players and you’re set. Look at the players who link, for example: Bednarek from Southampton links well to other English players.
Austria vs Denmark
Another good game in European football. Hard to explain how it’s a Marquee Matchup, but let’s say – their crests have similar colors. But for real – both teams are looking to participate in World Cup, both nations have decent enough squads for that, and if we go by the lack of games – it should be included in SBC
Most likely requirements:
-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Some players from similar league. You can easily find gold players from Denmark and Austria, for example, in Bundesliga. Buy few from each nation and I think it’ll be alright.
Bosnia vs FranceSpain vs Greece
I’ve went with those 2 games, as both big nations (France and Spain) play against decent enough opposition. It won’t be an easy game for both of those teams, especially for France, playing in Bosnia in my opinion.
Both teams are favorites at every tournament they participate, but overall Spain wasn’t performing well recently, despite squad being talented and promising. Of course both nations want to qualify for WC faster and use less games for that. We’ll see how it goes.

-2 player per league
-Overall rating of 75+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: As per usual – any players from those nations. Combine Greece and La Liga, for example.
Norway vs Turkey
Feels like I’m including Turkish league pretty often in MMs, so I decided to include nation too. 2 good young squads that would love to participate at World Cup. Both new generations of those teams are very exciting to watch, especially Norway. They’ve got quality players in every line and this game should be very exciting to watch too!
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per each nation
-Overall rating of 75
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Hard to say anything apart from those nations from different leagues. I feel like if this will be required – they’ll require multiple leagues side and it’s easy to find players from Turkey and Norway in other leagues.
Japan vs South Korea
It’s a friendly, but it’s a good friendly between 2 good (maybe best) sides in Asian region. The game will be played on Thursday morning, so it can be excluded, but still kinda hard to ignore game like this.
Most likely requirements:
-2-3 players from those nations in summary
-Overall rating of 69+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Few players from those nations. Again – it can be easily excluded, so don’t go hard on that game.
There are other international games, but I just couldn’t find something “Marquee” for this article.
