FIFA 20: Ligue 1 POTM Predictions - October
Ligue 1 POTM for October. It’s a new POTM in FUT, so we’ll have just 3 candidates.
IMO they are pretty obvious choices and we have a chance of some great card, finally, compared to other POTMs from different Leagues.
I still don’t know they choose candidates and what are requirements and how voting unfolds, but we’ll see.
3 main choices are: Wissam Ben Yedder, Mauro Icardi and Angel Di Maria.
While Ben Yedder and Icardi are obvious choices – ADM is a risky one. Maybe we won’t see 2 players from 1 team and there will be someone from Brest for example.
Few teams had nice month. Apart from Monaco and PSG – Brest and Saint-Ettiene had good months.
There are a lot more choices than 3 that I suggested, but we’ll see how it goes.

Wissam Ben Yedder. Amazing month for French player. FUT Favorite. A lot of people love his card and if he’ll get nominated – he should win it. 4 goals in 3 games, winning goals and overall best player in Ligue 1 currently, even by Leqiupe standarts.
Chances of POTM: 60%
Tips for investing:
I expect it to be 3×86 rated squads with few IFs.
Amazing card will be an expensive one. Fodders will rise and market will be awakened finally.
Overall a lot of fodders will rise, but I expect Marquinhos to rise more than others. Just because he fills for many criteria’s. 84-88 cards from Ligue 1 cards will rise no matter what I think.
Also fodders from different leagues – like Serie A and La Liga – will surely rise too.
Worth investing?I’d say just buy some fodder cards
Estimated cost: 350-500k. One of the most popular cards in FUT will be expensive. Very expensive.
Mauro Icardi
My 2nd candidate for POTM. What a month for Mauro at PSG. 4 goals in 3 games and overall scoring for fun in Paris. His card isn’t very popular in FUT, so I don’t think a lot of people would vote for him. But overall he should be nominated.
Chances of POTM: 20%
Tips for investing:
I don’t think it’s worth investing for Icardi. He’d be 87 or 88 rated card, which only suits for fodder-value. If he’s under 80k or so – people would do him, but if he’s more – he’s not worth it

Estimated Cost: 80-100k.
Angel Di Maria is my third candidate and 2nd from PSG. 2 goals and 2 assists in 2 games, MOTM both times and overall he’s probably MVP of PSG right now. Many people dislike his card in FUT because of Weak Foot, but for me he’s really fun card.

Best tips for Investments – cross investing with Ben Yedder. Any possible solutions will be probably similar to Yedder SBC, so basically fodders – is your way
Estimated cost: 200k-250k. With few more upgrades (like POTM one) – he’d be really good card. Don’t think he’d worth 200k, but overall we’re getting very overpriced cards, so 200k for ADM is decent price.
Overall I think it’s destined to be Ben Yedder. All 3 candidates deserve the award, but Ben Yedder stands out because of his popularity
