FIFA 20: Ligue 1 POTM Predictions - February
Ligue 1 POTM for January. We’ll have just 3 candidates.
Decent month, where a lot of people stood out, but there will be only 1 winner. Again, I’m including 2 players from PSG, but they were really good this month and other teams were so-so. Only Marseille and Lyon stood out apart from them. Lyon found their form, just on time, so they are pushing for UCL spot, while Marseille cruising in 2nd spot.
Let’s start this
Angel Di Maria is my main candidate this month. Maybe somewhat surprising to you, but I think he’s been the most consistent performer in PSG side last month. Everyone had good games and bad games, while Di Maria played well in every single game. He got 2 goals and 6 assists, so his stats back my point up.
Also I’m a bit biased towards Di Maria, so don’t mind me too much:D
Chances of POTM: 30%
Tips for investing:
Well. Pretty cheap SBC, his IFs are usually rather cheap and not popular, because of WF. So I doubt that ADM winning an award would cause market movements in high fodders. 84-85 rated cards might rise a bit but that’s all.
Worth investing? As I said – players don’t like using ADM, but this card would be 90 rated, so there’s a chance of it being good. He’s already got 3 IFs and Moments card, but this one should be with a good stats and RW (hoped for CAM, but nah, it seems that EA doesn’t recognize Neymar and Di Maria as CAMs in 4-2-2-2 formation that PSG plays)
Estimated cost: 200-220k. Around that. Should be around that. More would be a robbery – less would be too cheap for 90 rated card that links to MbappeNeymar.
2nd candidate is Kylian Mbappe. He had 4 goals and 1 assist this month, and he was consistent, but not as good as he usually is in my eyes. Overall he should be at least get nominated. Winning? I dunno, we’ll see
Tips for investing:
Another mega expensive SBC. If him and Messi win the awards in the same month – high rated fodders will go through the roof, especially for Mbappe, because it seems like it’s the most popular card this year in FUT.
87-91 rated fodders is the move, if you trust him winning it.
Worth investing? Again, depends on nominees. If he will get nominated – I think you should be ready for him.
Estimated cost: 2000-2500k. Around that. Same price as Neymar. Or even more. Depends. He might get 94 rated IF before POTM, so that would bump his price even more. So if he gets another IF before POTM – 2.5-3 million coins.
Moussa Dembele from Lyon scored 4 goals and got 1 assist, Lyon had a decent month. And Moussa was good once again. He’s in incredible form in 2020 and it’s good for him and Lyon fans.
Chances of POTM: 20%
Estimated cost: 50k. I think it’s decent price for a decent card.
Overall I think Di Maria and Mbappe at least should be nominated. I might miss on 1 nominee, but overall in my eyes – Di Maria is the deserved winner this month.
