FIFA 16 Team of the Week Predictions: Week 12
A fairly standard 15/23 last week, and as far as I know, no one achieved a better score so I’m reasonably happy. Let’s see if we can push on this week!
Bring your Vodka and Bacardi!
Can’t not talk about Jamie Vardy I’m afraid, especially as I’m a huge fan of non-league football and am adamant that their are talents like him in the lower divisions of the English pyramid; just look at Peterborough’s Erhun Otzumer, for example. 11 Premier League goals in a row though? Mightily impressive for someone who was playing for the likes of Fleetwood and Halifax not so long ago, and, despite the release of his special item at the weekend, I’d expect him to be included in this week’s team of the week as well. Reckon they’ll release another special item if he makes it 12?
Full in-form club teams?
That’s the way Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Barcelona could be having. After the inclusion of the individuals in this week’s prediction, they’ll have each have five, six and NINE(!) in-form items respectively! Not that we should expect much else from some of Europe’s top sides of course; Napoli moved to the summit of the Italian Serie A on Monday night with a 2-1 win over Inter Milan, Gonzalo Higuain scoring both of their goals and was rewarded with an exceptional 8.5 rating from Gazzetta dello Sport. Gonzalo Castro scored a goal and registered an assist for Borussia Dortmund as they scored another four, this time in a 4-1 victory of VfB Stuttgart – Castro was also named as the MOTM over the likes of Aubameyang. Finally though, this year’s standout club team is of course Barcelona and Dani Alves could be their latest special item after assisting two of Barcelona’s four in a straight forward victory over Real Sociedad. Neymar scored twice and assisted another and also picked up the MOTM award – a bit soon for another in form for the Brazilian though is it not?
Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
