FIFA 16 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 27
Only managed another mediocre score of 14/23 last week – I’m not going to set a target this week because it always seems to jinx me!
That one way to seal a league title!
I’ve never seen a side seal a league title in such emphatic fashion as Paris-Saint Germain managed to do against Ligue 1’s rock bottom side Troyes at the weekend. It would’ve been double figures if it weren’t for Javier Pastore missing a late one-on-one, so Les Parisians had to settle for just the NINE goals. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as you’d expect, was the star of the show, netting four goals and teeing up another. Bar missing the late chance to make it 10, Pastore was excellent, however I think full-back Layvin Kurzawa will join the big Swede in Wednesday’s TOTW.
Other European giants win big
They didn’t quite managed nine, however Barcelona and Bayern Munich managed 6-0 and 5-0 wins respectively over the weekend. Barcelona took on Getafe, however they were severely weakened as Luis Enrique opted to rest Luis Suarez, meaning the Catalan’s hopes relied on the likes of Messi, Neymar, Iniesta and Arda Turan. Oh no, how did they cope?! The little Argentinian, Lionel Messi, was the Man of the Match, however given his recent special item, Neymar shall be representing the Liga BBVA leaders in my prediction after scoring two of Barcelona’s six.
As for the Germans, any of three players from their side who put five past Werder Bremen could be included. Thomas Muller netted a brace, however I’ve gone for Spanish midfielder Thiago, who also netted a brace, and the tricky French winger Kingsley Coman who managed a hat-trick of assists as the Bavarians ran out comfortable winners.
Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
