FIFA 16 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 25
Very meh and disappointing 13/23 last week. I’m not going to set any standards or a potential this week, given it didn’t do me much good in last week’s prediction…
Can anyone stop Juventus?!
Aside from Bologna and Daniele Gastaldello evidently! The Old Lady brushed aside Inter Milan with relative ease at the weekend; centre-half Andrea Bonucci was the star of the show, finding the net once and ensuring that the likes of Icardi and Palacio didn’t get a sniff. Meanwhile, title rivals Napoli made the trip to Florence and came up against a stubborn Fiorentina side looking for a Champions League spot themselves. They had Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu to thank, who made four saves and received a “7” rating from La Gazetta dello Sport.
Goalscoring centre-backs!
As well as Bonucci, there are four other goalscoring defenders in my prediction this week. Firstly, we have Aissa Mandi, who moved from right back to the centre of the defence and contributed to two of Reims’ four goals as they registered a convincing win over Bordeaux. Christian Schulz was named kicker’s Bundesliga Player of the Week after finding the next twice in a 2-1 win over Stuttgart, whilst Branislav Ivanovic, who endured a rotten start to the season, has been enjoying himself more at centre-half and scored the winner in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Southampton. Finally, we have the Brazilian Juninho. No, not *THAT* Juninho; this one plays from Tigres in Mexico and he scored once and assisted another as Tigres swept aside Club America.
Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
