FIFA 16 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 24
Managed a good score of 17/23 with last week’s prediction – personally, I think we’re looking good for a similar score this week with, at least, 12 certainties in my prediction this week in my opinion!
Who likes wordplay?
Because I do. Let’s being in League One, where central midfielder Andrew Tutte had something to say about his side going 2-0 down at home to Colchester. He netted a hat-trick and claimed an assist, as Bury buried Colchester, coming back from behind to beat the soon to be League Two team 5-2. Meanwhile, at a slightly higher level of football, Bayern Munich took on SV Darmstadt, a side who make Tony Pulis’ Stoke look cultured. Whilst they did take a 1-0 lead against the reigning Champions, this wordplay is not about the newly promoted side. Oh no. It’s about Thomas Muller, who put in a fantastic second half display as Muller mullered the SV Darmstadt defence to ensure his side avoided an embarrassing home slip up.
And that, is how you silence your rivals
The Avellaneda derby between Independiente and Racing Club is considered one of the biggest rivals in Argentina and it witnessed a moment of magic at the weekend from former Porto and Lyon striker Lisandro Lopez. Independiente thought they’d won the game in the 85th minute as they took a 1-0 lead, however Lopez, who had a disappointing spell in Brazil in 2015 with Internacional, had other ideas. Introduced as a second half substitute, he single handedly took it upon himself to silence the entire home crowd. How did he manage this, I hear you asking? A brilliantly executed 90th minute bicycle kick. If you haven’t seen it, look it up, it’s well worth it. The veteran striker received a “10” rating from Ole after his wonderful goal and further cemented his place in Racing fan’s hearts.
Enjoy Folks! #PACKPARTY
