FIFA 16 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 18

14/23 last week, very average. No Premier League this week, however the likes of the Spanish, Italian and French first divisions did all play and thus make up the bulk of this week’s prediction.

You could argue that is what Gareth Bale is doing against poorer sides. Not that it matters as far as the Team of the Week goes and a hat-trick from one of the world’s biggest stars is always going to see him into the side. He netted three of Real Madrid’s five in an easy victory over Deportivo La Coruna and could feasibly be joined in the TOTW by teammates Karim Benzema and Daniel Carvajal, who both also put in impressive performance.

Goals!

If you had to pick a word to describe both Lisbon clubs SL Benfica’s and Sporting CP’s week, it would be just that. They scored 19 between them over the past 7 days and Brazilian striker Jonas was responsible for five of those. He scored two in Benfica’s 6-0 thumping of CS Maritimo and then went one better in their 4-1 win over CD Nacional, registering a hat-trick! Midfielder Pizzi was the other instrumental figure in the aforementioned 6-0 thrashing, scoring twice and setting up a teammate for another. City rivals Sporting CP, NOT Lisbon, also managed six during the week too! Vitoria Setubal were their victims and new signing Bruno Cesar was the key man, scoring twice and assisting another as Sporting maintained their lead at the top of the table.
