Team of the Year is right around the corner, but before that, we’re into the second week of FC Versus. Just like in Team 1, Team 2 contains two versions of every card (Fire and Ice) with some having different positions, stats and even skill moves and weak foot. Below is a tierlist of all the new promo items for this week!

God Tier:

Marcus Rashford (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/marcus-rashford/19497

Considering Rashford’s Centurions card is still brilliant; an upgraded version was always going to be incredible. The fire version is now a RW that can also play RM and LW. Rashford has 5* skills, exceptional pace, amazing shooting and very good dribbling which includes 91 ball control and 93 in-game dribbling. Easily one of the best right-wingers in the game.

Marcus Rashford (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/marcus-rashford/19498

Now permanently a ST or CF, Rashford’s ice version is another impeccable upgrade. The new addition of Trivela+ to the already stacked stats makes this card really stand out to me. His shooting stats are outrageous as he has 94 positioning, 93 finishing and 99 shot power. It will come at no surprise to me if this card was over a million coins.

Very good:

Rodri (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/rodri/19496

This card has received a massive +28 pace from Rodri’s base card, but he’s also been boosted all over. He some brilliant in-game stats including, 97 reactions, 95 ball control, 95 short pass and 96 long pass. Saying this, his agility and balance is low, so he’ll probably be more suited as a defensive midfielder, but this is still an excellent card.

Rodri (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/rodri/19495

Rodri’s fire version is now a member of Gullit gang as he gets a boost across all of his stats. He’s kept the Power Shot+ PlayStyle, but has been upgraded to 4* 4* which is brilliant. This card is much better defensively than his Ice version as he has some great defensive stats including 91 defensive awareness and 91 stand tackle. He does however only have 67 agility and 66 balance.

Fikayo Tomori (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/fikayo-tomori/19501

This is an exceptional centre-back card, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he was really expensive. Tomori has 88 pace, 90 defending and 85 physical. He even has really good dribbling for a centre back making him even more appealing. Some of his key stats include 94 stand tackle, 90 defensive awareness and 92 sprint speed.

Fikayo Tomori (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/fikayo-tomori/19510

Tomori’s ice version is a defensive midfielder and it’s a fresh and positive change for the AC Milan player. His pace, defending and physical stats are the same as his fire card, but he has boosted dribbling stats which makes him a solid CDM. Tomori has 84 agility, 94 reactions and 92 composure as well as the Jockey+ PlayStyle.

Antonio Rudiger (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/antonio-rudiger/19511

Another traditional centre-back here that has been moved to CDM and yet again he looks to be very good. Rudiger has the Intercept+ PlayStyle which is very usual for defensive midfielders as well as having great defending and physical stats. His pace split is uneven as he has 79 acceleration and 92 sprint speed, but this isn’t a massive issue and Rudiger is almost guaranteed to be a great card.

Antonio Rudiger (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/antonio-rudiger/19503

This is just an upgraded version of Rudiger’s base card, but I don’t mind it whatsoever. Again, he has exceptional stats are round and he’s a very meta defender. The mix of high pace with incredible defending and physical stats will push Rudiger into one of the best centre backs in the game. His 94 strength and aggression makes him very appealing.

Joao Felix (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/joao-felix/19521

Felix’s Fire card is a left winger and a very good one. Already having 5* skills and a 4* weak foot, Felix has received a +10 pace boost from his base card to make him an excellent wide player. His dribbling is brilliant, and his shooting isn’t half bad. With a decent chemistry style, he’ll be some winger.

Joao Felix (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/joao-felix/19509

This card reminds me of his POTM that he got in Fifa 21 which everyone loved. His stats including 88 pace, 88 shooting and 89 dribbling are brilliant and combined with his 5* skills, 4* weak foot and Trivela+ PlayStyle, Felix is a great choice at striker. An excellent card for the Portuguese man!

Decent:

Wendie Renard (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/wendie-renard/19499

This card is much better than her ice version. Renard’s defensive stats are some of the best in the game and she’s way more suited to being a centre-back than a CDM. However, she is still slightly slow with only 75 pace and her PlayStyle+ has been changed to Bruiser+ instead of Anticipate+ which is a downgrade.

Kingsley Coman (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/kingsley-coman/19507

Coman’s received a small upgrade from his second in-form, meaning he’s a decent Bundesliga winger. The mix of his high pace and high dribbling make him very appealing. However, his shooting could with a bit of work due to his low finishing and the 3* weak also isn’t great.

Kingsley Coman (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/kingsley-coman/19508

In my opinion, this is the better card of the two, but the difference is he is now a right-winger instead of a left. His shooting is improved from his fire version, but he could still do with a deadeye chemistry style. Strangely, he can now play RWB, but I wouldn’t even think about playing him there due to his horrendous defending.

Alexis Sanchez (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/alexis-sanchez/19513

Sanchez’s fire version is 100% better than his ice version. This version has 5* skills to go along with some brilliant dribbling stats. He also has 90 pace and 88 shooting which is a massive upgrade. Sanchez will be able to weave in and out of defenders due to his small body type and decent agility and balance, so I’m sure he’ll be an amazing striker.

Richarlison (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/richarlison/19518

Richarlison has a 5* weak foot as well as really nice shooting because of his 90 positioning and finishing and his 92 shot power. He might be a tad slow and a boost in dribbling would be nice, but with an engine chem style, I’m sure you’ll have a prolific striker in Richarlison.

Meh:

Wendie Renard (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/wendie-renard/19500

This is a very disappointing card for me as the pace and lack of agility and balance really lets Renard card down. She also has 3* skills and overall pretty bad dribbling. Saying this, she does have near perfect defending though including 90 interceptions and 93 defensive awareness and stand tackle.

Alexis Sanchez (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/alexis-sanchez/19512

This is another card that would be have been exceptional nearer the start of the game, not just before TOTY. Some of the positives for Sanchez include a 5* weak foot and brilliant dribbling, but as he is now a CAM, some key stats are lacking. His shooting isn’t great and physically he is quite poor.

Ashley Lawrence (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/ashley-lawrence/19504

Now a left-back, Lawrence is still quite far off being a top tier full-back. With the current meta of attacking full-backs, her shooting stats are quite bad and she has low strength which matched with her being 5’5”, Lawrence will definitely get bullied off the ball. Her passing and defending are quite good, but this card feels a bit behind the power curve.

Ashley Lawrence (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/ashley-lawrence/19506

The ice version looks more appealing as an upgraded right-back, but again the card just isn’t good enough for this stage of the game. This version has got better dribbling, but she is worse defensively. Again, Lawrence’s card is quite underwhelming.

Christian Gunter (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/christian-gunter/19515

Gunter is a half decent option for a left-back if you are building a Bundesliga team, but he isn’t anything special. Looking at some of the best of his in-game stats, he has 93 sprint speed, 90 stamina and 88 reactions, but that’s about it. He can also play LWB and LM but I wouldn’t recommend putting him further forward due to his poor shooting stats.

Richarlison (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/richarlison/19516

On the face of the card, he does look decent, but some of his in-game stats are very off putting. These include 70 balance, 76 long shots and 80 stamina. His shooting in general isn’t amazing and the card needs a lot of work.

Cody Gakpo (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/cody-gakpo/19519

This is another card that could have been amazing if not for a few in-game stats. His finishing could do with some work and his dribbling could do with a boost. Some positives though are that he has an upgraded 4* weak foot.

Cody Gakpo (Fire): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/cody-gakpo/19520

Gakpo’s Fire version has got 5* skills which is fantastic. He’s also quick, but his shooting, dribbling and physical stats are extremely underwhelming. With the right chem style, he will be quite good, but there’s a lot of room for improvement for Gakpo.

Fodder:

Christian Gunter (Ice): https://www.futwiz.com/en/fc24/player/christian-gunter/19517

There is a lot of problems with this card. His dribbling stats are lacking, he isn’t incredible and defensively and he is left footed playing right-back which I’m personally not a fan of. Physically though, he’s great, and he’s also quick, but this doesn’t outweigh the negatives of the card.
