FC 24 September POTM Serie A Predictions
Hello and welcome to Serie A Player of the month Predictions for September. Been a good month in Serie A, table is shaping up nicely and there were some quality performances over the month.
We’ll start with quick info on who performed the best and then we’ll move to my nominees.
Overall, Inter was very good. Despite losing to Sassuolo – they still won the rest of their games, the biggest result was, of course, 5-1 derby win over Milan. Surprisingly, Milan didn’t crumble after that defeat and won the rest of their matches too, so they are equal on points. Napoli, after rough start of the season started to finding some groove and finished month strongly with 2 wins in 2 games, but overall they were bad at the start of the month. Juve was winning games in their usual fashion, but then Sassuolo came and ruined their streak with 4-2 defeat and then they drew vs Atalanta. Table is very close up top, only 5 points separate 1st to 6th place and a lot will change, but at least there’s title battle.
Both Rome clubs struggled at the start of the season and while Lazio had some strong opponents, Roma dropped points to Torino and Genoa. It’s not the start both clubs wished for, but there’s still a lot to play and I’m sure they’ll turn it around soon.
Now, let’s move to some candidates. As usual – Serie A have mostly 3 candidates to vote for, but I’ll say few more names, just to show some possibilities that can get nominated or included in voting. One of them is Federico Chiesa from Juventus, who’s having nice season. In September he scored 3 goals: 1 goal in 2-0 win over Empoli, 1 goal in 3-1 win over Lazio and 1 goal in 4-2 defeat vs Sassuolo. Overall, it’s been impressive season by Chiesa, who recovered from bad injury. If he wins POTM – he’ll get cool 8687 rated card that will fit meta very nicely, but I doubt that he’ll win, because there’re some better choices.

For example: Rafael Leao. Only 3 goals and 2 assists this month for Portugese player, but still impressive performances. His game vs Lazio was a highlight with 2 assists, but he also scored winning goal in a game vs Verona, scored only goal in 5-1 defeat to Inter and scored a winning goal vs Roma. Leao is fan favorite and I won’t be surprised if we’ll see his POTM already. His NIF is expensive, so his POTM would be even more expensive. I’d guess around 300k for his potential POTM with 87 rating (maybe even 88). Will I recommend completing him? Depends on your playstyle. If you enjoy playing with his NIF – then yeah, plus maybe you’re a fan of Leao – so of course. But, at first I’ll suggest trying out his NIF before deciding. Maybe sticking with NIF will be a better option, as I doubt that upgrade will be THAT noticeable.
Next up I have a giant slayer, Sassuolo man, Domenico Berardi. What a month from him. 2 goals in 3-1 win over Verona, 1 goal in 4-2 win over Juventus, 1 goal and 1 assist in a win over Inter. We don’t speak about the fact that Sassuolo also lost 4-2 to Frosinone and lost 1-0 to Monza, it’s your typical Sassuolo performance. So, yeah. Berardi should get an IF for a game vs Inter, but also, if he wins – his POTM would be great 87 rated card. Berardi usually gets some specials, but I rarely seen people using him. Maybe he’s just not good in game, so that’s why. If he wins – he should be around 120k (at max). Would I recommend him? Nah, I’d pass on that card, save fodder for someone more interesting.
And last, but not least – king Lautaro. He came, he saw, he scored 6 goals and gave 1 assist. His best performance was against Salernitana with 4 goals in 1 half, but he also got an assist in 5-1 over Milan and scored 2 goals vs Fiorentina in 4-0 win. Maybeee not the best month overall, but still those 2 games should bring him POTM. He’s leading the goalscoring chart in Serie A and overall he’s playing at unreal level this season. Still missing some easy goals, but it will always happen. His POTM would be 88 or 89 rated card, depends on how they’ll do him. He should get an IF for a game vs Salernitana and then maybe they’ll upgrade his POTM by 1 more rating, which would be very welcomed. I expect his POTM to cost around 150k and it would be a very good card, if it’s 89 rating. If you’re rocking some Serie A squad – he’ll be a must for you.
