FC 24 September POTM Premier League Predictions
Hello and Welcome to Premier League Player of the month Predictions for September. Been a very fun month, with some wild results (especially in the last matchday, what a ride). It’s going to be fun to look at the list and choose players, but there are some very good options for your squads for different budgets.
Okay, finding 5 players wasn’t that hard, but 6th one was a problem. We’ll start with him. I decided to nominee Mitoma, even tho he wasn’t at his best this month. He came in clutch 1 game, vs Bournemouth, where he scored 2 goals from the bench, also gave an assist vs Manchester United, but that’s probably it. It was hard to nominee anyone else, because most of their performances were in 1 game, for example: Ollie Watkins with 3 goals and 1 assist but all in 1 game. Aston Villa player kinda deserves nomination too, so let’s go with Douglas Luiz or Diaby I guess? At least they performed well in 2 games. All of them would be kinda cheap, but good for your teams (at least super sub options, I guess). Mitoma would be like 86 rated card, Douglas Luiz would be 84 and Ollie Watkins depends on his IF, but probably 86. I doubt that one of them will win, but if it happens – all of them should be in range of 100k.
Now, let’s move to 5 big performers of the month. In no particular order.
Let’s start with Mo Salah and we’ll ignore one assist he didn’t get in a game vs Spurs. We’ll just ignore it. Still! Mo had a wonderful start to a season and his streak of goals or assists was very impressive and one of the best in PL history. He’s got 2 goals and 2 assists this month. He’s got a goal vs Aston Villa in 3-0 win, 2 (3) assists in 3-1 comeback win vs Wolves and he’s got a goal in 3-1 win over West Ham. Salah already got an IF for his performance vs Wolves, so idk – if he wins POTM it’ll be either 90 or 91 rated card. Basing on last year, it’d be the same as his POTM – 90. His IF is very expensive, even tho he was released during Pre-order week of EAFC. So, if he wins – he’ll be around 500-600k. Very expensive for a start of the game and I doubt that he’ll be much better than his NIF card. So my recommendation would be skipping his POTM.
Now, moving on. We have quite few players with 2 goals and 2 assists. Next on our list is Julian Alvarez. Interesting role for Julian Alverez and he’s playing wonderful. He had amazing year, won everything in football and looks like he’s not going to stop. 1 goal in 5-1 win over Fulham, 2 assists in amazing game vs West Ham and wonderful free-kick in 2-1 defeat. Yeah, City lost, but Alvarez scored amazing goal, should be recognized. He didn’t get a special card, yet. His POTM would be 83 (hopefully 85) rated card which would be really usable and would have some fun stats. I dislike first few POTMs because they give not that big of a boost to be worth it, but if they price Alvarez under 100k – it’d be very good option. Still, if he wins AND if he’ll be rather expensive, I’d skip unless you’re City fan.
The last player in our list with 2 goals and 2 assists is Bukayo Saka. Last, but not least. Arsenal had a great month, they had hard month and Bukayo delivered. 1 assist vs Manchester United in 3-1 win, 1 winning assist in 1-0 game vs Everton, 1 goal in NLD 2-2 draw and 1 goal in 4-0 demolishing of Bournemouth. Saka was clutch also in Champions League, but we don’t include those performances in this list, so yeah. Big problem with potential POTM Bukayo – his RTTK just got released. Yeah, it’s very expensive, but it neglects every other special Saka card until New Year at least. If Saka means to win POTM – he’d be around 200k. His RTTF is 5x the price, but I’d say it’s 3x times better card too. I’d honestly wouldn’t look at this SBC, unless you’re Arsenal fan or Saka stan.
Next up, we have 2 favorites. Kieran Trippier and Heung–Min Son. Both of those players had an incredible month and both deserve recognition.
Let’s start with Trippier. Kieran and whole Newcastle had a solid month, if we ignore their game vs Brighton. Kieran and whole Newcastle managed to keep 3 clean sheets this month in 4 games. But the highlight of the month was for sure 8-0 win vs Sheffield United, in which Trippier got 3 assists. He also managed to get an assist in 2-0 win vs Burnley and that’s very impressive month by him. He just got an IF and I hope, if he wins, his potential POTM would be higher rated than 86 with bigger pace boost. We just need some upgrades to his card and he’ll be rather useable option. He’ll also be a cheap SBC, with around 80-120k to complete (in my opinion).
And the last option is Heung–Min Son. Your fan favorite FUT card, that every loves and every one hates. Already got a good NIF card, already got an IF for his performance in NLD with 2 goals in 2-2 draw, but apart from that he scored 4 more goals this month. 1 goal in 2-1 win vs Liverpool, and 3 goals in 5-2 win vs Burnley. Son looking incredibly good under Ange and he’s having a wonderful season. His POTM would be very deserved, but also very expensive. His IF is 560–600k and if his POTM is 89 (which I doubt) – that would make him around 900k. If he’s the same rating as his POTM – I expect price to be around 500k. Deserved POTM? Yes. Expensive? Very. Meta? Always. You decide to complete him or not, if he wins.
