FC 24 September POTM Ligue 1 Predictions
Hello and welcome to Ligue 1 Player of the Month Predictions for September. As per usual, we’re getting them later, then usually, due to Ligue 1 rules.
This month been kinda strange, not a lot of good performances over the board, we’ve got Monaco as Ligue 1 leaders and a lot of your usual teams that are leaders struggled. That goes to Marseille, PSG (who drew to 20th place Clermont) and others. Lyon in relegation zone, Brest in Champions League. Season is wild. Enjoy the ride with us.
So, it was actually hard to find candidates for Player of the month. As I’ve said – a lot of meh performances and even the best players had few quiet games. So, for example – we’ve had Terem Moffi from Nice. They are currently 2nd in table and had a good month: won vs PSG 3-2, won vs Monaco 1-0, drew with Brest and won vs Strasbourg 2-0. Moffi had an amazing game vs PSG with 2 goals and 1 assist, also scored vs Strasbourg. Was completely average in other games, he didn’t score or assist anymore. But, due to the lack of nominees, he should get nominated. Already had 1 IF and his potential POTM would be 85 rated one. Good stats, but kinda hard to link. Shouldn’t be that expensive, I’d say around 50k for him.
Speaking about Brest. I’ve mentioned them, as a surprise of the season, as they sit 3rd in the table. Their main strength is their defense. I’d name Marco Bizot as nominee from their team. He conceded only 1 goal in 3(4) games this month and was as reliable as possible. In a game, where he conceded (2-1 vs Reims) – he was named MOTM, as he got 8 saves to his name. His potential POTM would be 84 rated and would be kinda cool for overall squad building: Dutch GK from Ligue 1, with new LW released not so long ago – would be quite fun and good for the game.
And the last option for me… I guess it’s Kylian Mbappe. I know it’s kinda lame, boring and everything, but as I’ve said – there aren’t many candidates and he still scored the most this month with 4 goals. He scored 2 goals vs Lyon in 4-1 win and scored 2 goals in 2-3 defeat to Nice. Not the best month, but at least we can see him being nominated. If he wins – it’ll be very very very expensive SBC. I guess around 3 mill or so. I doubt that it’ll happen in October, but if it happens – it’ll be very fun to watch market and overall state of the game because of him. If he’d win – he’d be 92 rated card too.
I guess Moffi will win, because his goals were most impactful and overall Nice had good month. I doubt we’ll see Mbappe in October.
