EAFC: Ligue 1 Player of the Month Predictions - November
Hello and welcome to Ligue 1 Premier League Player of the Month Predictions for November. Sadly, feels like very mid month, but we can get another very expensive POTM. Let’s see. Last month Mbappe won it, I think he deserved it, but also loved when Golovin was nominated for an award.
This month not so many teams went unbeaten: Lens, Metz, Lille, Nice and PSG. So, I was choosing mainly from these 5 sides. Usually Ligue 1 POTM consists of 3 players, so it was hard to choose exact 3 players, but I’ve tried my best.
Number 1 is GOLOVIN. Number 2 is GOLOVIN. Number 3 is GOLOVIN. No, but seriously, Golovin had another great month for Monaco, even tho they lost vs PSG and couldn’t win vs Le Havre. So, my first choice would be Ablie Jallow from Metz. They won 2 games and drew another one, so they moved up from bottom half of the table to the middle. Ablie went and got 2 goals and 1 assist in 3 games. He managed to get 1 goal in 3-2 win vs Metz, 1 goal in 1-1 draw vs poor Lyon and 1 assist in 3-1 win over Nantes. Overall, he got a contribution in every played game and that boosts his chances. Overall, he wouldn’t be the most favorable POTM, as his base card is 70 rating. So his POTM would be around 85 or so, with some decent stats, but I doubt that he’d be usable, so his expected price is around 10k or so.
Next up I have Nice player. He’s actually NICE. Jean-Clair Todibo would be my choice from Nice. Even tho he played in 2 out of 3 games, Nice managed to keep 2 clean sheets in those games and Todibo was named MOTM. Nice concedes so little goals, and their system and players help. Overall, it can be Todibo or Bulka once again, as he kept 3 out of 3 CS and was great for them. Both POTMs would be nice. Todibo would be 86 or even 87 rated CB with some cool stats, while Bulka would be 87 rated GK. I expect Todibo worth a bit of coins, like around 60k, because he’d be great card, while Bulka around 20k coins, as he’d be mostly fodder.
And last, but not least… Kylian Mbappe once again. Yeah, he actually managed a better month than October, so he should be nominated, he actually should win an award. He’d be 93 rated crazy card and I think a lot of people who completed 1st POTM would have a lot of regrets. 3 goals vs Reims with perfect rating, he also managed 1 goal and 1 assist in 5-2 win over Monaco. I’d be surprised if he won’t be nominated, but you never know with Ligue 1. They tend to do some mad things. But he actually got the most contributions this month, so it’s not like he doesn’t deserve nomination. Price wise? I can’t imagine. Like 3 mill? Or so. Around that should be enough for his POTM.
Overall, I think Mbappe wins it. Of course, Nice player deserves it too, but hard to go vs these numbers. We’ll see, but it should be anyway good POTM!
