Group B As It Stands
PHzin emerged the Victor on the night with 3 wins and just a single draw to his name and most notably an impressive +13 goal difference. Happy and Young are only a single victory off the top spot whilst FacuCowen still has a chance to qualify but will need a stellar performance during the next round of fixtures in match week 6 (15th January) to pip Happy and Young to the second and final qualifying spot making it through to the FC Pro Open Finals on February 3.
How Do The Upgrades Work?
Upgrades in FC Pro Live are a significant aspect of the competition, impacting the players and their performance on the virtual field. These upgrades are typically reflected in the player cards assigned to participants. Group C – Week three (December 11)
Now, let’s delve into the notable competitors from Group C in Week Three of the FC Pro Open: Group C offers a variety of challengers from all over the globe, so lets meet the competitors!
Vejrgang – Mohamed Simakan
Vejrgang commenced FC 24 by winning the inaugural FC Pro Cup on September 28. Navigating through the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier, he showcased resilience and skill, rebounding from an initial loss to JistenNSQ with a dominant 11-0 victory over Kun. Successive wins in the Swiss Stage against NiKSNEB, tuga810, and Julien secured his place in the FC Pro Open.
Vejrgang has been given Simakan as his FC Pro Live player card, currently valued as under 37K on the transfer market Simakan has huge potential if Vejrgang can continue his impressive form displayed in the FC Pro Open and could possible rise to an 88 rated card making him an even more formidable centre back at a very reasonable price as of now, I expect him to rise as the tournament progresses.
Antonini_Gabriel – Angelo Ogbonna
Antonini delivered a career-best performance, securing a spot in the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier in impressive fashion. His journey featured four notable victories in the Swiss Stage, followed by triumphs over fellow FC Pro Open qualifiers Happy and Levi De Weerd in the knockout stage. This not only secured his place in the Open but also sent a powerful message to his competitors.
Antonini beat Happy in the qualifiers who is currently sitting second in group B if form is anything to go by Ogbonna could be in for a few upgrades on day one!, Currently sitting at 125K on console, the higher rating and premier league links makes him well over 3 times more expensive than his centre back counter part Simakan but the possibility of a 91 centre back partnership with Van Dijk is tempting however, Ogbonna was only 90K a week ago so his price is already quite inflated with a 40k rise.
Manu Bachoore – Hirving Lozano
Bachoore’s career came this summer when he clinched his first international title by winning the prestigious 2023 eWorld Cup in Riyadh. His journey to victory involved triumphs over formidable opponents AbuMakkah, RvPLegend10, and Obrun2002, setting the stage for a captivating final against Mark11. The showdown proved to be an intense battle with nothing to separate the two players over two legs. In a nail-biting climax, ManuBachoore narrowly edged out his rival on penalties, securing his first eWorld Cup title.
Lozano came as a squad building challenge card last month and cost roughly 80K which considering his potential upgrade path is a steal especially as he has already beaten AbuMakkah during this years 2023 eWorld cup if this feat can be repeated that is one inform upgrade right off the bat!
SeanLDW – Dele Alli
Sean Landwehr’s journey to the FC Pro Open has been a challenging one, the knockout stage presented formidable challenges against high-calibre opponents like Ollelito, FacuCowen, and Leks. Despite the tough competition, Sean demonstrated his skill by winning two out of three matches, solidifying his passage to the FC Pro Open in a commendable fashion. Sean us definitely one to watch in this tournament.
Sean’s card is none other than Dele Alli, currently coming in at 100k Dele is a well rounded CAM/CM with good links and high potential. It is worth noting that this card is currently up 35k in the last few weeks as more people are looking to invest in these FC Pro live cards. With 1 or 2 upgrades Alli would be a formidable card.
AbuMakkah – Kalidou Koulibaly
AbuMakkah initiated EA FC 24 with a successful qualification journey, earning a spot in the FC Pro Open. Despite facing an initial setback against AdrianCifuentes in the Swiss Stage, he rebounded strongly with victories against Serhatinho, AkmalJHD, Umut, and xcharifx, securing progression to the knockout stage.
Koulibaly is a great well balanced centre back with decent playstyles however, the reason for Koulibaly being 60K is simply due to his links being from Senegal and playing in the ROSHN Saudi League making him extremely difficult to link. Bachoore also managed to overcome AbuMakkah previously this year making it a tough challenge to maximise Koulibaly’s full potential.
As we conclude our exploration of these esports journeys, it’s evident that each player has carved a unique path in the competitive FIFA arena. From Vejrgang’s steady ascent to Antonini’s breakthrough and ManuBachoore’s historic eWorld Cup title, their achievements speak for themselves. The FC Pro Open serves as a platform where skill meets opportunity, and these players are making the most of it. Keep an eye out for more updates, as these esports figures continue to shape the narrative of virtual football, bringing both excitement and competitiveness to the forefront of the gaming world.
