Hello and welcome to the new year of FC. We’re in FUT 26 and it should be the most exciting one, as EA promised us a lot of changes. We don’t know yet how Team of the Weeks will be changed, but for now will go with old flow and then we’ll change, as it changes in FUT.

Should be pretty decent TOTW to start FUT with. A lot of cool performances here and there, but what’s good with a start of the game – every TOTW is exciting (it will end as soon as we’ll get 10 promos in). So yeah, let’s start

Not the most exciting weekend in Premier League, as a lot of games finished either 1-0 or 0-0. But, despite that, we should get few cards from here: Zubimendi scored twice for Arsenal vs Forest and it’s nailed on. Doku or Haaland is a choice for me. I’d go with Doku, for now, as I think Haland first week IF would be a bit too much. Also a choice from Spurs was hard. People expect Micky, as he’s one amazing card, but sadly, I think that it’ll be Bergvall, who got 1 goal and 1 assist to his name.

In Bundesliga we got HSV back in the league and Bayern going hard on them as usual (before this weekend they won 9 out of 10 games at Allianz with a score 53-5). So yeah, Kane should be in TOTW with 2 goals and 1 assist. Grimaldo won a game vs Frankfurt with 2 goals for a new Bayer, while in women’s Bundesliga Bayern also won 3-0 vs Leipzig and Oberdorf got 2 goals for them, so should be in TOTW.

Other cases are from: Serie A. We have Charles De Ketelaere with amazing game for Atalanta, we had one of the best derbies between Juve and Inter with 4-3 win for Juve. Hard to choose player from there, lowkey should be Bremer with 2 assists from CB, but they conceded 3 and he wasn’t at fault. We’ll see.

Barcola had great game for PSG and got 8 by L’equipe, he should be in TOTW. Sadly, not many more options for Ligue 1, but Pavard and Aguerd scored on their Marseille debuts and got 7 by L’equipe, so one of them should be in.

A lot of action in La Liga, Barcelona won 6-0, I think Fermin Lopez will be the one with TOTW card for them, as his goals were crucial in this victory. Here I should also mention Barca F, who won 4-0 and I think we’ll get a banger card in a face of Patri Guijarro with 2 assists.

Overall, there are some bench players and reserves who deserve cards, but I won’t mention everyone. MLS got a lot of hat-tricks, few of them should be in, but Thomas Muller deserves his flowers for scoring 3 goals and getting 1 assist in a win on his birthday.

That’s probably it, for now, we’ll see who I will get right, but hopefully it’ll be close.
