EA FC 24 Team of The Week 13 Predictions
Hello and welcome to Team of The Week Predictions #13. Last week we really got fodder of the week and there were literally 0 highlights for TOTW. This week changes everything, this should be a banger TOTW with some great players, if they’ll receive great boosts. Overall, it’ll be Prem Heavy TOTW, due to midweek games, but I don’t think a lot of people will be mad because of that. Let’s start.
And we’ll start with Prem. There were 2 options for GKs: Alisson and Trafford. Went with Trafford due to his outstanding performance vs Brighton, but overall can see Alisson getting it too. From defenders I went with Diego Carlos, who was rock solid in 2 Aston Villa wins over Arsenal and Man City, great performance, great banter. Senesi from Bournemouth would be my other choice, as he scored in 2 Bournemouth wins and kept 2 CS. Scotty McTominay would be my choice from midweek, where he scored 2 goals vs Chelsea in 2-1 win (we don’t talk about his weekend performance). Son should be in for a game vs Newcastle with 1 goal and 2 assists. On the bench I can see Raul Jimenez from Fulham who scored 3 out of 10 Fulham goals in 2 5-0 wins, and Doucoure from Everton who scored a goal in each out of 2 Everton wins. I think there’s an outside chance for VVD, but I’m not that sure, also would like boosted Elliot card, but that’s just my dreams.
Next up, I have Serie A. Gatti scored the only goal in 1-0 win over Napoli, Calhanouglu had a solid game vs Udinese with 1G1A, and Lookman scored 2 goals in 3-2 win over Milan. Great stuff. In La Liga we have Merino with 1 goal and 1 assist for Sociedad vs Villarreal and Stuani for his performance vs Barcelona. In Ligue 1 Lyon finally won at home and Laca scored 3 goals, he must be in. It was hard to exclude Aubameyang, but he’s in SBC, and I doubt that they’ll include him, so went with Mbemba.
And in Bundesliga we got Frankfurt’s 5-1 win over Bayern. Was hard to select only 1 player, so went with Dina Ebimbe, who scored and assisted. Overall, surprising result, considering circumstances.
Apart from that we have few silvers from smaller leagues, but they should get bigger bosts.
