Bundesliga — Player of the Month Prediction (September 2025)

Hello and welcome to Bundesliga Player of the Month Predictions for September. First POTM in EAFC 26 and we all know the winner already, but hey, let’s highlight some other players, just in case magic happens.
September brought goals, late winners, defensive masterpieces and young players stepping up. Here are six players who made the biggest impact in Bundesliga matches during September
Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
Harry Kane continued where he left off. During September he kept scoring regularly and — crucially — passed the 100-goal mark for Bayern Munich in the period. Kane’s movement and finishing were decisive in several September fixtures as Bayern set the early pace in the table; his clinical edge and presence in the box have already been a major talking point this month.
Harry scored 7 goals and got 1 assist in 3 games (what?). He should win the POTM, POTM should be kinda good and cheap, but I’m sure he’ll be a very good card, especially Goretzka SBC might be useful for him too. Should be around 150-200k at max.
Karim Adeyemi (Borussia Dortmund)
Adeyemi showed his electric counter-attacking quality across September. He scored the winner in a 2–0 vs Mainz earlier in the month and again struck in the 2–0 win over Woflsburg and got 1 assist vs Heidenheim, where he was involved in the decisive move and high-intensity pressing that defined Dortmund’s attack. Adeyemi’s pace and finishing have been a consistent threat in September fixtures.
Karim got a nice start to a season and stepped up when it needed and Guirassy wasn’t in the best of shape too. Karim’s potential POTM would be nice card and would probably be expensive one. Potentially 84 rated and would be one of the fastest cards in game.
Johan Bakayoko (RB Leipzig)
Bakayoko produced a decisive match-winning strike late in September, he struck early in the game and that finish proved to be the difference in RB Leipzig’s 1–0 win at Wolfsburg — a hard-fought victory that kept Leipzig within touching distance of the top sides. His directness and timing in the box were crucial that weekend. And also he scored 1 goal in a win over Mainz. Overall, very strong month from Johan and would be quite nice special card, kinda similar to Adeyemi. Would be cheap too, as he’s not that popular. Maybe next month!
Luka Vušković (Hamburger SV)
My young GOAT. What a CB. The young centre-back made headlines for a dominant defensive performance vs Heidenheim and Union Berlin. In the match against Union Berlin he posted eye-catching defensive numbers — notably an exceptional aerial duel performance — and was widely praised in match coverage for his physical dominance and composure at the back in his early Bundesliga outings. His arrival has immediately strengthened HSV’s defence in September. He scored winning goal vs Heidenheim and overall looking like fantastic signing for HSV. Wish he would stay at HSV, but Spurs will surely get him back.
Potentially nice CB, but with lower pace, but with nice upgrade would be a useful option at CB.
Alejandro Grimaldo (Bayer Leverkusen)
After EtH left Bayer – Grimaldo came back to life and was the creative spark in September for Leverkusen. In the away win at St. Pauli he supplied the decisive touch to unlock the defence and helped set up both goals in a 2–1 victory. He also scored twice in a crucial win over Frankfurt. Grimaldo’s crossing and set-piece threat have been important for Leverkusen in the September fixtures.
Potentially 87 rated card with some amazing stats for cheap
Fisnik Asllani (TSG Hoffenheim)
Wild-card pick for me. Asllani made his mark in thismonth. He scored an important goal as Hoffenheim fought for a point at Freiburg — his strike levelled the game and helped Hoffenheim secure a draw in a difficult away fixture. He also scored twice in 4-2 win over Union Berlin. Very important fixture for Hoffenheim’s chance of survival this season and overall was good whole month.
Would be quite cheap and useless POTM, but we’re relying on IRL performances, so yeah.
Prediction
My POTM (September 2025) prediction: Harry Kane — he combined consistency, volume and the kind of finishing that changes games and headlines (including the notable club century). There’s no other option, for real. If he doesn’t win – it’s rigged.
